How are they attached to my own hair?
They clip under your own hair by small snap on clips. The clips will not slip and are extremely secure. Once fitted you will not be able to see the clips. They are the easiest Hair Extension system available. Clip them in/out by yourself In 5 minutes
Can I dry the hair with a hair dryer or use tongs & GHD's?
Treat our human hair clip ins as if it is your own hair. Use a hair dryer or tongs. Even when fitted. But as with your own hair never use a hairdryer or tongs to hot and always use a heat protective spray. Never use heat on our cheaper synthetic clip ins.
How do you wash them?
Wash them as you would your own. Use good quality shampoo and conditioner. Never rub the hair when wet.
Can you sleep in them?
Try not to. It won't do any harm once in a while and if its going to ruin the passion at the end of a good night - Leave them in!
How long does my own hair need to be to use clip in extensions?
Different people have differing opinions But as a general rule we find as long as you have shoulder length hair. You should be okay.
Can I colour the hair?
Yes. The human hair can be coloured. As a general rule darken the hair rather than lighten it. Always use a good quality semi permanent hair dye and test a small sample first. Never use bleach or peroxide.
How long will they last?
If you look after your hair it is not uncommon for Our Little Secret human hair clip in extensions to last over twelve months. If not treated with respect they will need to be replaced every three to six months. The more you look after them the longer they will last.
How too look your best in them.
If your hair is layered extensions more natural. If your hair is not layered get your hairdresser to razor your hair to blend in with your extensions.
Why is real hair more expensive than synthetic hair?
It's a simple supply and demand issue. As Synthetic hair is man made, factories can make this all the time, whereas 100% Human Hair takes time to grow and be donated.

Do you sell curly human hair clip in extensions?
We intentionally only sell straight human hair clip ins. We recognise that curls and waves are of different types .Straight hair extensions can be curled/waved using tonging/curling equipment so that customers can create the look that is exactly right for them. Curly hair clip ins are available in our synthetic range, these also work great in straight hair for adding volume.
